I cried... The ending was good for me, I cried for the blonde hair dude.. he was never the ocean to begin with, he helped the mc, saved him and loved him.. but that love turned into possessiveness, he just wants the mc to be with him and him only... The problem is that the mc cannot survive in the hand of the blonde dude, he cannot survive in the fish tank that the blond dude thought of ocean.. I cried because I understand it. It was painful for me... But I'm happy that I got the ending that I want.
GORGEOUS SHIT i loved this, it was short but sweet i have no complaints other than it was too short!!!! i love both sides of the story i loved the ending, i really didnt mind it even though people said it felt rushed. i connected the characters, they were fleshed out so well, the relationships were beautifully written out. i love angst and this manhwa gave the perfect amount, i love how emotional it gets with the darker part of the story (the possesive and toxic relationship) because i love topics and conversations about that stuff when theyre handled tastfully. im so happy they got a happy ending. im so filled with joy after reading this
I wish there was more. I guess this was meant to be a short story and it started off really strong but then fizzled out like the fireworks they were showing in the story T_T but the ex boyfriend can rot in hell! He was a total narc! The couple I wish we got some side stories or at least another chapter or two with them as a couple!
What a cute short story that gave the main characters just enough depth for us to fall in love with them. I love the poetics that the author uses where the main tops tattoo was burned by his grandfather, while our main bottoms tattoo was destroyed by himself, both used as a metaphor to erase ones history. I also really love the symbolism behind each main characters tattoo. Our main bottoms tattoo is a cold fish, which is a symbol of freedom or a fish can travel in a vast ocean, but as a goldfish, it is trapped in someone’s aquarium as a decoration. And for our main tops tattoo, it’s a dragon, biting the neck of a tiger, where the tiger is a representation of his grandfather.
A yakuza member fell in love with a commoner, and gave birth to a boy, which is our main top. His father, dies in an accident, and his mother, dies from depression, and since then his grandfather calls the grandson a curse. This led to him burning the tattoo that our main lead had when he was younger, leaving him a scar. He hired a tattoo artist, which is our main bottom to cover up his car. They develop feelings for each other, and slowly revealed to each other trauma. Our main bottom came from a very impoverished life where he used to sell his body for extra money, and that’s where we met our second male lead. They eventually develop a relationship, but not a loving one. Our second male lead is very controlling Dash overly possessive, and it becomes a very toxic relationship that our main bottom cannot get out of. basically the grandfather and the ex-boyfriend are both obstacles that prevent our main couple from being together. Eventually the grandfather dies, leaving our male lead with the inheritance, and after our main bottom stabs himself where the tattoo is of the goldfish that the ex-boyfriend had tattooed on him, he finally sees that he is not able to provide the ocean that our main bottom needs, and finally freeze him.
It’s such a short and sweet, ending, where we see our two main characters happily jump into each other’s arms by the ocean, and we know that they have a happily ever after! I wish they had more side stories!
I really like short but good story. But I hate the part where he have sex with the ex-bf for him to realize that he can't forget sungjae. Kinda messed up
