I mean I saw the cover so I expected at least a little bit of macrophilia . . . But I didn't expect that to last throughout the entire story? There is one chapter that doesn't have macrophilia, since the God shrinks down to human size because apparently they can do that, but that scene is short and shown in flashes. Everything else is just . . . Full macrophilia. Which, you do you if you enjoy it, I'm not trashing that kink. It's harmless.
But it ain't something I'm into. So 0/10.
The plot's pretty thin but there is something there, albeit pretty shallow. Gods have pet humans, and when Ouranos has to leave for some Godly duties, he puts his human under the care of Erebos—humans are treated as toys and lowly pets, a lot of them end up abused or otherwise mistreated, and Erebos was the only God Ouranos trusted to look after him. However, once Ouranos leaves and Erebos has to look after the human, the human just won't stop crying and whining and throwing a fit.
So Erebos decides to teach him a lesson.
Which is where really weird and borderline funny smut comes into play. Erebos' "lessons" are basically just sexual torture; nipple play, bondage (how he got such small ropes, nobody knows), etc. And I just can't take it seriously, I'll be honest. Probably my fault for reading a kink I'm not gonna be into but it's not exactly like it's tagged with that or anything.
I found the characters, the human especially, to be really annoying. The way the world works isn't exactly explained all that well, if anything it's purposefully vague, but I just can't understand why the human is acting so immature. All he does is cry for Ouranos and whine for him to come back, as if he isn't a grown man. He kind of acts like an infant and it's a bit off-putting. It's also strange how at times it seems like the Gods and humans can't communicate, but then other times, it's like they understand each other perfectly fine. It's inconsistent.
When it comes to Erebos . . . He's fine. He's mean and sadistic which is a typical character trope I actually enjoy, so there are no complaints from me. He's just a bit shallow.
