It’s pretty cute, a little cliche tho (4 stars)
As the Emperors knight and right hand man, She loves him a lot. She meets a dragon and makes a deal to have her love returned if she can find the dragons body and unlock a binding on it. However, due to the contract she starts coughing up blood. The emperor believes she is sick, and keeps her captive to keep her safe. Everyone loves her and believes she’s trying to go somewhere quietly to die.

The worst. Ngl mc could've just said anything to ward off the "sickly" rumours ppl hv been spreading abt her. But the only thing she keeps saying when ppl asks abt her condition is "im not sick". Yh well just provide a better reason y. I get frustrated cuz mc rlly isnt proving a point. Yes its for a plot convenience but its frustrating seeeing her not able to continue forward w the plot or even complete her end of the deal in the contract just cuz she cant get out of the castle. The ml is also sus as hell. Y so suddenly fall so obsessively in love w her after she asks to leave. the author just seems to make it all awakwardly and force it to make sense when it just doesn't. Feels like a jigsaw puzzle forcefully fitted in the wrong places. Ngl not my cuppa tea
