I don't know how the author would develop ML to become a good husband material. But I sincerely hope (even if it's impossible) that FL would get married to another man. He could not give her a happy life, as his mother is a true nightmare.

You see, the whole family of ML was abusive towards FL in the last timeline. MC was a duchess, but she was never treated as one. Even though she hadn't done anything wrong.
