This infuriated me. Seme is intended to be uke’s lifesaver, but his way of thinking is just as bad as the rest of the people in the uke’s life who treat him poorly. Also blames the victim for the assault and abuse that he goes through, is very unsympathetic despite being a father. Seems to just be interested in uke’s body and uses his cute kid and a safer place to live/work as the bait. Dropped around chapter 2 or so.
What’s ironic about this one is that it had a lot of things I’m drawn to- a kinky, s*x-loving uke, taboo workplace romance, great art…until the plot slips COMPLETELY off the rails & boy, is it uncomfy. A perfect example of a story pushing things too far, and ruining a good thing. Stopped after uke’s brothers introduction.
You won’t convince me that a giant cat’s sandpaper tongue feels good on the privates in any way shape or form. Made my gonads hurt just reading it. Also the love interest(s) constant disregard for consent got really old, and the reason for being “unable to hold back” felt like a really lame cop-out as well. Wish the chemistry was better.
First chapter, and the seme has already randomly and immediately r*ped the uke upon 1st meeting. DESPITE an already good plot setup that would have naturally pushed the two together and made way for chemistry anyway. Just totally unnecessary, a total gun jump for no reason but to “get the s*x scene out of the way” I guess. Dropped here, don’t see how any nuance could come out of such a ridiculous start
The back & forth of wanting to portray the uke as a tough and strong guy one minute then a naive, weak, completely dependent nympomaniac the next minute got old. If he isnt getting beat up, he’s getting f*cked. This story wanted to be a mindless p*rno so badly. Which probably would have fared better than this gang war tale that feels halfhearted. Just needed more substance overall.
