☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, pornography, romance, western country]
TW: rape, debt, boss-employee relationship
+ amazing progression
+ accurately displays the difficulties in overcoming a toxic relationship
+ realistic & beautifully written
The Author's really knows how to make a story stick with the audience. The writing put into these characters, who after being trapped in darkness for so long, finally find peace... it's beyond. Nothing can possibly top it.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, mature, hurt/comfort]
TW: attempted suicide, kidnapping and imprisonment, rape, vomit
+ dark, twisted progression
+ previously acquainted
+ in debt, exchanging sexual favours
This is one of those sequels/ side stories that make you sit and rethink your original impressions of a character. These two had so much potential, and the elements were all there, but the Author just ruined it with her selfish goals. Still, this will always be one of my all time favourites.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, romance, slice of life]
TW: suicide, self-harm, depression
+ Beautiful art style
+ Amazing character development
+ Well-written backstories
+ Progression is perfect
This has to be one of the greatest reads. Even though the 2nd-hand embarrassment was unbearable, the Author put their blood sweat and tears into developing this story into something that I can only describe as the epitome of creation, and it's embarrassing how this single-handedly destroyed me.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, romance, psychological]
TW: rape, prostitution, abuse
+ Heart-breaking
+ Well-written
I remember reading this years ago, and holy shit. Marloong deserves some kind of medal for this, because the delivery of "Stigma" is top-notch. It's hard to find gems like this that really kick you where it hurts the most. It's beautiful, sad, and realistic to a degree that's not human. This will forever be a masterpiece.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, romance, mature, revenge]
TW: dub/non-con, boss-employee relationship
+ Next-level angst
+ Perfectly progressed
+ Well-written
Another mind-blowing masterpiece. Brothers Without a Tomorrow really out-did themselves with this story. The art, the story, the plot... it was all so well put together that it's impossible to find any faults. The pain the characters suffered made me feel as if I was going to die, and the ending exceeded my expectations.
