Two hairdressers with completely different personalities find themselves working in the same shop. They both find each other insufferable, and constantly make a point of harassing the other and tearing up the workplace. When Sho, quiet and generally found awkward by customers, finds himself a stalker unusually attracted to his cold attitude, Sho wonders why his normally infuriating coworker now seems to weirdly care so much about him.
10/10. Harada knows what we want before we even do.
Another Harada work—with a twist. There are so many tags that an fit under this one that the only thing I can really tell you is to read it. I have and I regret nothing. Both the seme and the uke are twisted in their own, unique ways, and Harada plays on this very well, creating a very memorable story that you won't be forgetting anytime soon.
More Harada for your pleasure. As with the next one on the list, this is not a standalone work (Gintama doujin). There certainly is a fair bit of emotional manipulation and by the end the uke is so warped by the seme that he isn't even recognizable as the same person he was in the beginning.
See, this is why I love Harada! Definitely a favorite of mine in terms of kidnapping/abduction doujins. The seme fucks the uke up after many months of psychological torture, and the uke is virtually helpless to stop him. The English translation of the title is "Invisible Chain", and it certainly lives up to that, as the uke is still 'chained' to the seme even when he thinks he has finally gotten rid of him. I definitely recommend this.
This deserves a warning more than anything else I will be adding to this list; there is gore. A lot, a lot of gore. If that does not bother you, then go right ahead—be my guest and indulge in this very complex and interesting work. At the time of writing this review I have read this about four times, and it only gets better each time I have. More and more of the story unravels; I learn more about the characters and their motivations. Not for the faint of heart.
While this is not a standalone work (an AoT doujinshi, rather), it is still fabulous and deserves all the recognition it has gotten. It shows sides to characters that we never imagined them having in these sorts of scenarios. The story brings a dark twist to traditional Omegaverse, and branches off into uncharted territories that many A/B/O doujins are afraid to explore.
While this may not deliver in terms of shock factor (violence and the like), it definitely showcases the seme's obsession and manipulation of the uke, along with the uke's complete and utter dependency on the seme. It's a psychological thrill ride—with a twist!
Again, this is a fanwork (for a very obscure play named "Shoshitsu"—for whatever reason there are virtually no records of it ever existing). However, unlike others on this list, I have drawn the most inspiration from this one. It is truly breathtaking. I recommend reading it two or more times because on first reading you probably won't understand everything that's going on; things quickly get both horrifying, dramatic, and confusing in their intensity.
There are... very little words I can use to describe this one. It is unique, I shall say. The story revolves around a seme, desperate for an uke/seme (it's complicated), desperate for an uke, desperate for some peace and tranquility. Throughout both chapters you get to witness both the uke and the seme (and more)'s slow descent into insanity. It's captivating in that 'can't look away from a train wreck' sort of way.
Stalking. Stalking in its purest and most unadulterated form. If you're looking for that perfect creeper-seme then this is the doujin for you: general awkwardness, an uke who just doesn't understand why the seme keeps showing up at their door, and lizards (for comedic effect, of course).
