One of the best mangas out there. The art is impeccable, the comedy is too-tier, but the cherry on top is the storytelling. I cannot tell you how hard it is to replicate this type of manga.
First of all it’s a sport manga, meaning a very specific genre of readers. But this manga is so good at keeping volleyball interesting, it was able to lure in me. I learned so much about this sport, and I never felt overwhelmed. The characters are all like able with no bad guys. Highly recommend!!!!
Really good read. The plot is soo suspenseful, and the MC isn’t naive or dumb.
Firstly the plot’s genre can only be described as mystery. The synopsis details about a girl who loves reading, so much so that she often gets into trouble by not looking at her surroundings. She helps a retired author by keeping him company and just talking to him. He’s kind of a recluse after his retirement. His books were a catalyst to crazy ppl dyin.
I honestly don’t know why this manga isn’t as popular. This is so good. Unbelievably good. I don’t want to compare this to Haikyuu, but this manga is similar. Great storytelling, awesome Mc, but what sets this apart are the rivals. You can’t help but just root for the other team, they are so loveable. I wish this got more views. Try reading it til chapter 20. You’ll fall in love.
Really good Yaoi. I find it hard to find a favorite since most of them are so generic with plot and over sexualize everything. They had good chemistry and it didn’t feel like the plot was all about sex. Ueda always makes exemplary art, and this ones no different.
Again not all about sex.
The idea of having a stutter hits home for me, and I empathize a lot with the main character. I think that overcoming your anxiety is a huge accomplishment, and being able to make a book about speech impairment is noteworthy. I also like the ending, because you can’t just get rid of the stutter completely, it’s more about finding confidence.
I think that this author has something going. The art is really detail-oriented, and the characters emotions are captured well. The best part of it all is the storyline. I really enjoy plots with suspense, and this does the job.
Highly recommend if you like mystery above all, and like the kind of mystery where it’s not obvious to the readers.
Honestly the artwork is not the best, but I enjoyed the comedy aspect. I was cry-laughing at some scenes, so I decided that this had to be in my favorites. I won’t spoil much, but it’s really funny.
