✓ One of the best binge-worthy shounen mangas! My biggest flex is that I started reading this before the anime came out and it got its well-deserved limelight. It's not as underrated anymore but its still something I have to recommend! The premise is somewhat unique, like Erased, but with much more action and gangs. The action and emotional conflict are amazing. A refreshing main character that shines, not through his fighting prowess, but his ability to connect and inspire

✓ My favourite one shot from the author of Chainsaw man and Fire Punch. Without spoiling much, our protagonist loves making films, but as his films are his own interpretation of his life, we sometimes get a disconnected and idealised version, and the reader is constantly oblivious to what is real and what is part of his edited movie. Tackles the concept of grieving through a powerful and complex lens, with the bonus of a very entertaining leading character duo.
✓ This is one of the manhwas that this list was practically made for: a read that is criminally underrated with a super unique premise. The main character is beautifully flawed, and we follow him on his journey to get out of the twisted game of reincarnation with the personification of death itself as his biggest enemy. As the story progresses, he overcomes many obstacles, including the internal conflict in himself, bringing forth amazing character development

✓ Strange, unique, heart-warming, heart-breaking, bittersweet love stories. Honestly, I bawled my eyes out while reading this. This is far from classic love stories, with a focus on witches, each with their own version of what love is/should be. Initially, I thought this would be wholesome, but there are so many cruel twists and events that happen, but it's so worth the read despite that, or actually because of that. Not gonna lie, there should definitely be a "tragedy" tag,
✓ A sea ship adventure story, and it goes all out of the visuals. The main character and her chemistry with those around her are amazing. A beautiful story following her on her quest to find her former master. Furthermore, I'm a sucker for those "different types of love" stories, in which I mean family love, platonic love, etc. rather than just romantic love. Here, we have a heartwarming maternal like bond between the MC and the baby son of her master.
✓ Apparently, the creator of this manga has completely vanished without a trace so this is probably never going to be completed. Nevertheless, this is a very gripping and interesting psychological horror read. The gore is very detailed and the visuals are quite creepy even without the graphic guts and blood. We have our unique main character duo, with a girl who wants to enact revenge and a young cute-faced psychopathic killer helping her just for the pure joy of killing and torturing people.
✓ When I initially read this, it seemed like a unique slice of life about how a living doll learns how to adapt to her attendant shadow. But it reveals itself to be much more "in-depth". We follow the main characters as they find out secrets about the Shadow House, and start to realise not everything is as perfect as it seems. The main character group is so entertaining to follow and this strange fantasy-like setting also makes the manga an even more compelling
✓ For sure a hidden gem. Moon You follows our MC who is the "very last man" in the world (or so he thinks), as he was on the moon when an asteroid hit the earth. It starts off pretty light-hearted and comedic, but as the story progresses, you see deeper and sadder undertones you wouldn't expect. I guess it's to be expected when you believe that you're the last living human alive.

✓ I'd forgotten the feeling of reading a genuinely good manga for quite some time - prior to this, I had been struggling to find a manga that I could binge up until 3AM like the good old days of Imawa no Kuni no Alice and Ouroborous but here it is! This manga was so fucking good, words can't even describe it. An intricate psychological mystery with plot twists that made me physically gasp. Truly one of a kind, if you're looking for a mystery that will actually blow your mind
✓ About Death is a manhwa about... well... death. It's actually really good. Multiple stories show many aspects of death, and it makes me appreciate life. The chapters each have their own message and overall was a nice emotional read. I think it's less about what death is, but more of a lesson trying to be conveyed, sometimes quite obvious but other times, more subtle. It is really thought provoking too, makes you appreciate life a little bit more :)
