If they had ran away together, the ML would’ve lost his life since he didn’t complete the third life. You had to follow your responsibilities even if you lose someone and he already didn’t follow his in his second life, so in the end they had to do that.

we see that she does view callel as her child but he's also just a mortal. So like her child but not? + Regaining her memories her feelings for that family have probably cooled down in retrospect, what with mortals forcing her, a deity, to be forced into a comply with their silly rules.

Oh I really did like the second life tho. And honestly if I was her I'd go into different reincarnation pools all the time cause it's just so fun.
