I just don't understand why his dad hates him so much. Like he can be a dad, as seen with his daughter, so why? How can someone hate their own newborn? I just will not forgive the dad ever, and I hope he doesn't get a redemption arc. No sad tragic backstory can justify being an abusive person that too to your own kin.
