just reread this story for the first time in a few years and it reminds me of how badly jihyun was supported or raved about when he literally sexually assaulted chiwoo.

i really don’t want to hear the “it’s bl” or “it’s yaoi” barb because we were given accurate representation of what a victim of rape actually goes through in the aftermath. chiwoo was so scarred by what jihyun did he couldn’t even be himself. he was SCARED to leave the house!!! and y’all still support jihyun, absolutely baffling.

genuinely sobbed because the representation really stuck with me and i struggle to see how any of yall are okay with this mf even if he’s just “pixels on a screen”

Thanks for the confirmation. I had the hunch the moment he came back and kissed him that something felt off. As soon as chiwoo threw up I kinda knew, but never judge a book by it's cover right? But thank you for confirming what I thought. A good reason to stop reading right now

ahhh i wouldn’t let this discourage you from reading it!! (unless it is some type of trigger of course) this is one of the bl i’ve read that deals with rpe appropriately. the abuser is denied forgiveness and the author doesn’t even make it try to seem like what he did didn’t emotionally and physically scar op for the rest of his life. this is one of my all time favs and i would recommend giving it a read!
