One thing I'm sad they didn't adapt was vendal topping Riddle and the subsequent reconstruction of both kingdoms, in the political side. In the novel we already knew Victoria wasn't a "bad" person and just wanted what she belived was better for her kingdom and her son altogether. It's a 8/10 adaptation, even me who didn't know English well could read the original, and I really advise people to do the same
