I love the use of gifts here to symbolize feelings! Diana's gift to Kael is small, possibly not containing anything important to Kael (according to some people here, in the novel she really did give him something insignificant) and he threw it to the fire because he simply didn't care about her feelings anymore. Instead he decided to also gift Hestia tons of gifts and "cross the line", thus the mountain of gifts representing how much he loves her (≧∀≦) I really hope Hestia will start accepting that real love is possible for them and that Kael is currently a real person in the world she exists who loves her. Also Kael please make it be not only gifts I want you to flirt with her at any possible moment
