There wasn't anything to be forgiving about...it's not like anyone cheated, they just misunderstood each others feelings
I would agree with you in a lot of Yaoi mangas.. It's a freaking overused theme in Yaoi.. Way too forgiving ukes but not this one... There wasn't any direct violence or what not... (Rape, cheating, black mail etc.) just misunderstanding like what kitty said.
I agree with 'Eye4' for the second oneshot, it was just miscommunication on their part, but I can see what you mean 'Anonymous' with the first oneshot about the University students. It's sad how easy it is for ukes to forgive rough sex from a seme. I don't agree with it (especially when the seme doesn't seem to think it a big deal and/or make a BIG apology for it) But I have to say, Priceless Honey was much more tame than some of the other 'rape and get back together' situations I've come across. Makes me cry really to think that this is such a big trend in Yaoi manga, semes who unleash their anger or frustration on their ukes. Man, sorry for making this a long rant. :/
Yeah, how many times do you see a seme apologize for making an uke’s ASS BLEED, for example!? Or, "Sorry that I got jealous over a misunderstanding and put you through a HARDCORE BONDAGE PUNISHMENT SESSION before letting you talk. Or cum."
I've read too much rape yaoi, if I can think of two examples off the top of my head. Actually, I've read way more. But if the uke cums, it's not rape, right? At least, that seems to be the law in Yaoi-Land.
