Yes, he's shown us he has a kind side, but that does not make him kind.
I too was starting to forgive him but then I realized that was because my initial image of him was so horrible that if he simply blushed it already made him earn brownie points.
I really love this manga and Murakami is so cute hehe although Ashihara was a times a douche, he's just being a hard ass but is actually kind.
