Okay now for the full story spoilers. This is an omegaverse story. A beta x omega story so if you want an alpha, I'm afraid you have to look elsewhere. (￣∇￣") Please note that there could be minor mistakes and it will be edited as the eng translation is uploaded.

> Jaeun (omega) and Jihan (beta) are ex step-brothers. Jihan used to get beaten up by Jaeun's dad (alpha) a lot while Jaeun used to watch from the sidelines. He's really close to Jihan. At one point, Jaeun had enough and stuck up for his little step-bro. He got hit in the face by that asshole dad. Ever since his omega results, people started treating him differently and even his oldest friend ghosted him.

> Asshole dad basically sells him off to an engagement with an alpha, who is also an asshole btw. Right when he had his heat, the dad gave the key to the alpha fiancee and basically fed Jaen to the wolves. Fortunately, little Jihan rescued him in time. Alpha family gets angry, dad alpha in turn gets angry at his family and at this point Jaeun is just fucking done with everything. He yells at his dad saying he's through with him and promptly runs away. Fast forward 11 yrs later. After Jaeun left, followed by the lil bro and step-mum who divorced the dad. Jaeun and Jihan live together.

> Jihan takes good care of Jaeun and his omega dilemma and has a secret crush not-anymore-step-omega-bro. Jihan was the only one (aside from their mom) who stayed with him after he discovered he was actually an omega. Even Jaeun's good friend Siwan (?) left him, leaving Jaeun feeling angry and hurt by it. (Siwan is an alpha btw, he'll play a role later) Jihan is all too aware how much Jaeun hates being an omega and his suffering during his heat cycles. He doesn't even wear a protective collar because it's basically screaming to the world that, yes, he's an omega.

> Jaeun gets one of his heat cycles in the middle of his vet work. The office calls Jihan up, thankful he's only a beta, to take care of him. Jaeun unconsciously pulls sultry moves on Jihan when they arrive home. Jihan can't handle it and kissed him-- but snaps out of his reverie before either of them regrets it. Jokes on them, Jaeun remembered the kiss and gets super conscious about it. It ends up with the two of them confessing their feelings, and became a super wholesome couple. uwu

> Then Siwan, the alpha ex-friend of Jaeun comes back lol rip. Jihan was already wary but he wasn't too concerned since Jaeun and Jihan aren't big fans of alphas because of their dad. Not to mention how Siwan left him the moment he found out Jaeun was an omega. Jaen's angry at him because his best friend wasn't there for him. Anyway, this is where MTL got a little confusing. I think Siwan turned out to be Jaeun's mate or fated pair (and I'm pretty sure Siwan was pining over Jaeun back then, even fapping when he was thinking of him at one point)? This fated pair/mate bs is serious business. If Siwan bit Jaeun's neck to imprint him then Jihan and Jaeun would have to split.

> Pretty sure Siwan's aiming for Jaeun but firstly, he wants to rebuild their relationship. He asks Jihan at one point to help Siwan and Jaeun to get together again, even pointing out they're fated. He thinks it's odd for Jihan and Jaeun to be together cuz ~step bros~ (jokes on him, their parents are divorced and they're not blood related pft). Jihan flipped the hell out lol. Also, Jaeun and Siwan sorta met behind Jihan's back, making Jihan insecure and paranoid as hell. He's only a beta, he can't emit pheromones or imprint on an omega. He asks Jaeun to promise him not to meet with Siwan again.

> Lol, Jaeun does anyway. At night. In Siwan's house. Cuz house call for Siwan's dog. Without telling Jihan. One thing led to another, Siwan's sniffing ~pheromones~, reminiscences, and actually bit Jaeun's neck. Thankfully, Jaeun isn't in his heat so it's not a total imprint. This was a 'my mind's telling me no but my body is telling me yes' moment. The pheromones of an alpha. Jaeun snaps out of it and runs out of flat to get back home. Jihan is awake at this point and asks where Jaeun's been. He's red as hell and gets touchy when Jihan touches his collar. Jihan sees the bite mark. Oh shit!! (╯°Д °)╯

>Jihan's insecurities toppled with the feelings of hurt and betrayal-- aka the prologue scene about Jaeun being an omega, unable to withstand alphas. He wants to have sex as his last attempt of grasping what he has with Jaeun but Jaeun doesn't really want to. However, refusing Jihan = pushing Jihan away, confirming Jaeun x Siwan. In the end, they had dubcon sex. Jihan changed that day. He monitors Jaeun's messages, he gives him the omega protection collar (which we all know Jaeun doesn't like), he's still allowed to go out and work but it's strict. A very controlling relationship overwrote their wholesome dynamic. :( Dammit, if only the alpha didn't come along......

>A couple of days, maybe a few weeks later? Siwan visits Jaeun to apologise, I think. Jaeun is really upset with the situation. He's made it clear he loves Jihan but the way he's acting right now is scary and he seems to be no different from his alpha dad or something like that. Jihan overhears outside the office (he was holding some coffee to give to Jaeun) and promptly runs off. Finally realising what he's done.

>He's appalled he's transformed into the very thing he wanted to protect Jaeun from. He can't remember the last time Jaeun smiled warmly. Regret x10000 lmao. Of course, Jihan doesn't think he should ever be forgiven so the next best thing to do apparently is to drop off the fuckin' grid. He leaves the flat and basically disappears. Instead of y'know, talking to Jaeun like an adult. The classic lack of communication.（￣へ￣）

>Jaeun realises Jihan is gone. Sorta in denial at this point, lot of panic and grief. 2 weeks pass by, he finds out that Jihan really did left. From the coffee right outside his office, he deduced that Jihan overheard what he said about being scared. Jaeun regrets saying those words. Siwan is called by the vet office cuz Jaeun hasn't been going to work. He finds out what happened. He offers to help find Jihan.

>1 year timeskip, they still haven't found him. Siwan is quietly pining while helping out Jaeun. He's a regular at this coffee shop where some barista gives him advice and talks to him. Worries about him too. They become sorta friends. I'm like 90% sure he (the barista) is crushing on Siwan. Now that I think about it, the barista is caring for Siwan the same way Siwan is caring for the depressed Jaeun...

It's not a long story btw. Not too long after the '1 yr timeskip', Jaeun finally has the brains to go and check for Jihan at his uni campus. Jihan's friend shares the directions to Jihan's new uni. They meet up, talk, get into a bit of a quarrel, but the ultimately make up pft. Siwan definitely has unrequited feelings for Jaeun. He gets rejected though, and drinks with the barista to forget shit. Just a side note, it's really weird Siwan bought matching rings for him and Jaeun when Jaeun made it clear he's not interested in him that way. Waste of cash lol Siwan threw it in the trash later.

>Endgame pairing is obviously Jaeun x Jihan, and Siwan x Barista. Overall, I can't get mad at anyone, man. Not even Jihan. Fated pairs stuff's pretty heavy and legit in the omegaverse. I'm glad he realized what he did was wrong. Everyone of them, including Siwan btw, are ready to move on with their life. Pretty short imo. I want a sequel based on Siwan and the barista.
