I don't know why so many people bitch about the uke. For your Fujoshi hearts, I understand you want to see some action asap. However, think of him as a 19-year old, not-so-world-savy (dumb) straight guy(who didn't know he is bi) who never even thought of sleeping with another dude. Of course, how he eventually fell for K is the more realistic way. PLUS, I liked how he didn't sell himself for money or how K didn't rape him or extort for sex.
