Ummm, may I ask if you are a gay male? I ask because I have a lot of gay male friends - I'm a bi female who was introduced to the LBGT "world" at the age of 7 - and I am confident in my knowledge of male homosexual relationships. My brother is an exclusive bottom. My best male friend is an exclusive top. Although a large portion of gay males "flip" - or take on either position - for the sake of convienience or their partners desires, there are those who prefer one position over another. In the west, as any other culture where homosexuality exists, there are roles - or positions - for each partner. Lesbian relationships as well.
