I'm a little confused... can i have an explanation please?

So basically, hibari is answering all the questions yamamoto had given him, but yamamoto forgets all the questions he had asked in the course of the story. Yamamoto, realizing how great a person hibari was, began
doubting his own capabilities. So when hibari called his name, frustrated and probably confused, he had said things which hurt hibari. After seeing the hurtful expression on hibari's face, yamamoto chased after him. Hibari then tells yamamoto to just forget everything he had said to him. Yamamoto then thinks how can he forget something when he doesnt even remember it. While contemplating, he finally remembers his conversation with hibari and about the questions he had asked (the person you like? and so on). Taken aback, he finally realizes that when hibari called his name earlier, it was hibari's answer to his question. This is what drizzly said
