i don't know anything about ur relationship with him nor do i know the type of person he is but based on what u have said about him i don't think that u should continue to be with him bc he has admitted to cheating on u. Him telling u that he cheated doesn't make him a better person bc he should have done that it just goes to show that he could do it again just bc he tells u this about this one time doesn't mean that it's only gonna to happen one time. personally i would find it hard to build trust again with someone who has cheated even if he just had that dating app he downloaded it knowing what happens on those apps and right before ur anniversary too. i think that sometimes we just wanna see the best in our partners and defend them but if they have admitted to breaking trust in a relationship i don't know how u would be able to trust him again. also this is just my opinion and what i think there could be more circumstances in the situation but based on what was given these are my thoughts

as u said u don't know what he would've known next, he is causing there to be a lot of anxiety and stress in the relationship and u feel confused and hurt. as i have said before i don't know the whole situation but if u feel uncomfortable around ur partner and anxious it's not a good sign. realize ur worth and make the best decision for urself to keep urself safe and happy even if it means to leave him or not it's ultimately up to u if u wanna continue being in a relationship with this person
