Honestly no idea what I was expecting when I started reading this but Im glad I did its refreshing, sure it's in the BL realm but the story is very strong and interesting on its own the adventure, 2nd chance, and character growth are what have me camping.

P.s. romance will take a big back seat, as many mentioned it's a slooooowwwww burn and they're first kiss in the novel is around chp 200 enjoy it for what it is.

Ohhhh that was a frustrating chapter to read even if I understand the MC has been through a lot and is tired physically and emotionally. I don't doubt in his mind he is confident in defending himself plus he even ch CK that mr.lee was following but as a reader it just frustrates me I can't do anything to help cause we know what plot tool this is!!!! I like that we're getting a view into killian's thoughts, watching him breaking down the things that had happened in the past and his memories carefully, thinking about things more clearly. You can really see how differently he is when he's not influences by the "plot" or "characters" compared to when we first were introduced. Seems like his true self is really shining and will develop more and more, compared to Cliff and lize who are chained to the plot and their "roles"
