If this is being asked seriously then consider this; most women read yaoi because it is written for the female gaze (or gay gaze). Basically the men are often drawn very attractively compared to in most hentai's they barely even focus in on the guy's face.

I'm just wondering how far you can go to justify a seme's actions in a bl. I used to eat up whatever yaoi authors would write, but now that I've taken a break from reading and am coming I'm seeing so much shit that authors just let pass because the top is hot and powerful.
While its more rare, another question is a bottom's justification. Have you ever read a bl where the bottom was clearly the problem, but it was swept under the rug because whatever.
I am in love with a friend of mine. We have never officially dated, but we have always been physically close (nothing sexual). A few years back he asked me out, but at the time I rejected him because I felt like it was the right thing to do. Recently I had developed feeling for him and around that same time he began avoiding me; Ignoring me or giving very short replies in text or in person.
