Hello everyone, can I ask if there is romance between Jiwoo and Jiyoung? I am currently in Chapter 172 and wanted to find out if there is or not. Because I would not continue reading this if there is as it would be weird and felt so forced. Despite having lots of interaction, they don't have chemistry at all. I only see them as siblings or mentors relationship and not romantic. Also, I actually don't mind if they have an age gap and have romance too. However, It leaves bad taste to my mouth and felt uncomfortable reading it as he is 17 years old, a minor and a highschool stud trying to figure himself out and she's a CEO, an adult with the confidence and experience to back it up. Through out the story, she was illustrated as a mature woman.Even if their age gap is not that big like three years or four years their level of maturity is not the same, it gives me an ick and felt uncomfortable reading it. Like can their relationship platonic only? You know this is my favorite manhwa and really wanted to know and also for a peace of mind. Thank you to anyone who answers and please reply me so that I can continue reading or not and reply kindly as this is just my opinion haha
Actually same!! I do feel the same as you... It does kinda feel weird... And I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that seem forced romance with the characters not having any chemistry, they only look cute but doesn't have that chemistry at all...
Anyways, to answer your question, we still don't know if there will be a romance between the two. Or if that is what the creator/author wants to push with this... But seeing just a little bit of sweet scenes of the two, we can assume that maybe the author is giving us a hint that maybe, not now, but in the future they'll have that kind of relationship...?? Considering we keep getting a glimpse of their alone time scenes,,, so yeah... We can only assume for now but we still can't confirm if the romance is going to be there or not.

You're right she looks older but they actually have only a few years apart, but yes I also feel conflicted about this.
Don't worry at 279 they had some interactions but the childish kind (blushing at max), they don't actually date for now and I think they won't before a long long time
