I can’t remember the title, yaoi manga were the seme is an otaku (or like a particular anime, can’t exactly remember) and the uke cosplays as his favorite character (a girl character at that). I’d really appreciate anyone’s help.

Thank you but unfortunately it’s not this one. It’s frustrating I can’t remember the title but I can remember the plot. If my memory serves me right.
They are best friends. The seme like this particular girl anime character, like an otaku would.And because of that the uke thought of cosplaying the anime character when asked as a gig.
I don’t think the uke was really into cosplaying in general but more on the fact that he will like everything that the seme likes as it makes him feel closer to the seme.
Then in that gig where the uke cosplayed the character, they met each other and the seme invited the uke (not knowing initially that cosplayer was his close/best friend)
Eventually seme realized it was his close friend but opted not confront him and wants the uke to say so himself. In the end uke revealed himself and confessed and the goes the happy ending.
This is really frustrating as I can remember the plot but not the title and name of characters.

I haven't read this for a while because I got really disgusted by Qiyu. Could anyone tell me, help me understand why I'm no longer seeing Yu'er, the empress? Is she dead already? Can't remember if it was mentioned.

Yuer is just not in this novel. It is kinda stupid because I cannot imagine him not to intervene after what he went thru. Then maybe his son would not be such a cruel idiot.
I was thinking the same. The moments I randomly read an update, Yuer is not around which made me think whether he's still alive or not. No mention of him at all so far on the available chapter? I thought I just missed something
