So it appears to me that regression of the protagonist was not a new thing, but it follows the actual story. The last thing she said is that Cedric got the fairy curse, because she regressed, which means in the original timeline, before she got her powers, Cedric was not cursed. Which leads me to believe that the appearance of our fl didn't cause the regression of the protagonist (I'm terrible with names), or they're not actually directly connected.
