yooo frll!! finally someone said this >< No cuz I'm from southeast asia and when I tell you there will be no discussion or bribery happening if you throw a tantrum especially if it's in public! Parents will literally just leave you behind or pretend you're someone else's kid if you pull a stunt like that 0 tolerance on a kids' random bs + you'll get humiliated so bad you'll never want to repeat an act like that again

Exactly! I'm asian too so I totally get it. Our parents ain't got no time to deal with tantrums. Life is busy. Not only what Minato did is dangerous, imagine the money for all of this if your family is poor...The hospital fee, medication fee and FOOD WASTE. Man, that kid will have the consequences instill into his brain. Tough love but I gotta admit kids that get disciplined do behave better than those don't. At least it is from my observation with families around where I live.

Anyway, I guess this is just our realistic take with one of the scenes based off of our own experiences and perspective kinda cool ☜(ﾟヮﾟ☜) But alas the serie itself is bound to be fictional and though I admit that any physical, mental, verbal, or any type of abuse towards children are not necessarily an acceptable shortcut for discipline cuz there are literally other ways to do this like maybe start with a proper communication? The generational trauma has to end with the new gen of parents somehow. I guess that was how the artist conveyed it for us :,)

Don't worry I understand you lol. I guess I'm the lucky one that don't have bad experiences with my mom whipping my asses. But I know that there are other bad parents out there that uses this discipline method as an excuse to take it (usually their own issues) out on their childs and that's horrible. I think that's why the "spare the rod, spoil the child" approach get such a bad name nowadays.

But I do believe that a hit that came from love feel different from a hit that is out of rage. So I still don't think that physical punishment is 100% wrong, it just have to be done in right ways as the last resort when nothing else works. Also not everyone is fit to be a parent but that's a whole different topic for another day (⊙×⊙ )

Shizuma has already apologized multiple times tho....
But in the future he does tell his boss to stop and he and Minato begin house searching

The only time I can recall is in the last chapter Shizuma said "If I gave you the wrong idea, I'm sorry", Minato replied later "You don't get it" and that's true. Shizuma doesn't know where is he's wrong so those doesn't count.

What I want is a proper apology, like "i'm sorry for making you feel insecure and taking your trauma lightly"

Bro shizuma has apologized at least 5x. What do you think he is...he's not even sure what he's doing wrong because Minato refuses to tell him anything.

He apologized for missing their appointments, he apologized for making Minato jealous, he apologized for being busy and too tired to spend time with Minato, and he apologized for having to apologize so much.

Minato isn't even saying what's wrong and even then shizuma makes an effort to try to not get him jealous as shizuma legit said if he knew the boss lady would have his underwear he wouldn't of had Minato be so close. This is cause he knows about minatos trauma.

No, Minato clearly stated that he need space, which is completely understandable. It's not him refusing to tell Shizuma what's wrong. It's him needing to sort out his feelings because he knows he's being jealous, which is a side he consider to be ugly and does not want to show Shizuma.

If Shizuma keep apologizing so many time but won't realize what is the core problem, not just Minato but anybody would feel tired, what's the point.

The problem is being so comfortable with you boss handling you your underwear, not that your boss have your underwear, especially when your boss is the opposite sex, which is another of Minato insecurity from past volume. All stems from Shizuma being too kind and not having clear boundaries.

Nobody is acting like Minato is always right, in fact it's opposite. Minato is always the one to apologize when thing is SERIOUS in volume 1 AND 2.
In the ferris wheel scene, Minato talked his heart out and I quote "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you properly. I've resolve to trust Shizuma-kun. Despite that, small matters make me anxious easily. Though I know in my head Shizuma won't do such thing. I can't stop myself from having negative thoughts".

Shizuma taked note that he should be more careful but here we can see, he doesn't! He still keep in touch with boss lady outside work and Minato see it when they about to go on a date. What universe is this careful? This is your partner telling you he/she has trust issue, but you refuse to take it seriously. This is taking your partner trauma lightly despite knowing their past!

Shizuma knows all of this, if he can't handle it then don't date a person with trust issue and trauma. Instead of calling Minato "cute" everytime he's jealous, maybe the least Shizuma can do is take it seriously and don't repeat the same thing over and over again! I also agree that Minato need therapy but nobody in the story ever mention it so ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Shizuma calls him cute but also always says he understands that Minato is suffering and despite him finding it cute he doesn't want Minato to suffer.

He also doesn't keep in touch with his boss outside of work :/ I don't know where you got that from. Shizuma also waited 3 days before going to Minato

At the end of the chapter, Minato saw the two of them share a car and later Shizuma said " Of all the times for the director to poke her head out..." => She gave him a lift and it later reveal that they spend the whole day together at some cafe eating sweets after meeting the client. That's keeping in touch outside work.

Despite knowing that the last time Minato got mad is because of her, but still decided to do all that is insensitive af. He could have just take a taxi and avoid the risk of Minato seeing them together, especially after knowing that he tends to think negatively. It's called learning from the past.

Also, when a person need space, it's up to them how long they need process their thoughts. Three days is nothing, it's not even a week yet.
