Everytime I think of dropping this because it's so unserious and over the top, the author puts out an actually decent chapter... (sigh)

Asks her to come to him for help and then rejects her when she's clearly in so much distress that she's resorted to begging?? Reminded me of all those unhappy marriage couple scenes in media where the wife is always suffering and the husband doesn't care.
This is not love, there is no respect he just wants a claim to her.
It starts off great and you can really feel the pain the MC goes through. But then it takes on this odd tone that just doesn't fit the story being told.
It's like the author had good ideas, but didn't know how to execute them.
I kept reading in the hopes we will get what we had in the first few chaps but dropped it after (possible spoiler) that grandpa died for no reason other than forced angst
Without spoilers, how far are we from the end of the story? I know novel ends at 174 chapters

This is beautiful. The love between the mother and daughter is so real.
Rather than forget her past life and simply launch into a new life, she still grieves over what she has lost.
It wasn't perfect but it was still something she struggled to protect and so it makes sense that she wouldn't want to give it up so easily.

Kinda boring. Read if you are just looking for some smut without plot- the sex scenes are pretty- otherwise there's not much here.

There are some elements to the plot that make it interesting but the rest of it is so bland that I can't take it anymore. I got up to chapter 50 and it's just boring now, the characters have no consistency, the author just seems to bring out random personalities when the plot needs it.
At this point I'd much rather just read spoilers because I can't be bothered with the minor plot going on
