I felt like I need to take a stand. This is for people who are confused if they should read this or not.

- About the incest. It's nothing new in mythology. Egyptian mythology don't only have it. Even Greek and Norse mythology have some weird stories like that. It's just a myth anyway. Yes, Horus x Seth are Uncle-Nephew technically but isn't one of webtoon's popular title "Lore Olympus" is the same? It just that Hades and Persephone are man and woman while Horus and Seth are both guys. If you're problem is it isn't canon in the original material, that's fine. Bc Ennead is just inspired from it and not based. This is like a What If story.
- About toxic relationship. Seth's relationship with his son and probably his wife is toxic for now but there's a valid reason why it ended up like that. You'll see. As for Seth x Horus, it's not a toxic relationship. Seth probably hate him for being Osiris son but Horus don't feel the same way. In the later chapters, it shows Horus keep trying to save Seth from everyone who hurt him. Seth on the other hand is slowly starting to notice why his nephew's kind action towards him even tho all Gods are against him. The story and the relationship is still developing.
- About Falling in love. I know Seth is very beautiful man but Horus didn't fell for him bc he lusted for him or his appearance. It was bc of a fateful night and Seth accidentally gave Horus an affection or comfort he wish to receive. Since then, Horus is soft to his uncle. Not going to say what exactly is that tho.
- About rape. The rape in this story is not romanticized. Metaphors like being chained by thorns is being emphasize to show that the character involved didn't enjoy it. The panels are written carefully and beautifully. If you don't like that part, you can always read the censored version aka the 16+ version in Tappytoon legally. This webcomic have two versions. Mature and 16+. Still same story.
- About story. The story is beautifully written. Each character has their own role even the beautiful women aka goddesses like Isis. They are not just side characters. They are vital in revealing back stories. Just like I said, it was inspired from Contendings of Seth and Horus myth but it's only serve as a reference material and not fully based.
- About smut. If you're only looking for that, this is not for you bc this is story-driven. That means they don't just fall in love instantly and do what you anticipate. Story is unfolding as they develop their relationship. It's about Ennead after all and don't only focus on Seth x Horus. The best way to enjoy it is simply enjoy the story and characters.
