Demisexual means you’re rarely sexually attracted to another, but that also means It’s not limited to one gender, which would make it invalid if it was limited it one specific gender. That’s what I think though, I’m not highly educated in this sorta talk.

I am gay and from the east parts of Turkey. My parents are not really homophobic and would not kick me out of the house for being gay, but they would definitely be concerned about me or try to change my mind by saying I am too young to know about it (I am 18.) I really don't want to lie to them about this topic and want to come out to them but like a lot of people around me, they know too little about it and didn't even know that being trans and gay are two different things until I explained it to them. I feel like Islamic countries are far less prepared to accept people from the LGBTQ community, and the fact that a group of people were arrested for marching on Pride Month just prooves this. Do you think I should be honest to them?
