Ngl the duke is a massive arsehole and doesn’t deserve the MC after what he did - literally stalking and harassing him, treating him as property, SA. I don’t care if he has a tie to his past or that they’re childhood friends or whatever since all the above stuff automatically makes him a terrible person. The prince doesn’t understand boundaries and is just a bit icky - he is redeemable though unlike the black haired creep.
