if ian wants to stay w the gang, be w tj, if he wants to leave, be w jo. but make up ur fucking mind and stop leading jo on. sure yall have a history (not chemistry) but if tj’s logic is gonna stay as “you cant leave me” then i dont want him w ianesp if jo will drop all things and give him the world
ian isnt naive nigga…u actually have to be so slow not to find fault in ian bro esp after him basically saying he would like to go camping… if thats not getting someone hopes up.. then idk what is..ian is subconsciously clinging to jo too idiot. ian is a whore and thats that…if u live by ur last sentence u must be insufferable.. your actions can be taken in various ways
Odd, you sound like you’re saying Ian should never voice his feelings just because Jo ignored the fact that Ian told him they wouldn’t be seeing each other exclusively as he doesn’t commit to relationships. Jo then decided to still go through with it and build on a friendship. So no, Ian isn’t clinging to Jo. They’re involved. They’re friends. They like each other. When those things intertwine and you find yourself experiencing something new like camping, what is done here isn’t “getting someone’s hopes up.” It’s being true to how you’re feeling.
So no, The one at fault isn’t the one who wants to go camping. It’s the one who heard “we’ll be non-exclusive sex friends” and decided to cling to him even though he himself is monogamous. His hopes are up because he decided he would get someone like that to be theirs exclusively. It’s his own fault. Ian cannot be responsible for the decisions he made in his own head. Sure, caring about someone else’s feelings can define you as a nice person. However putting one’s own feelings first doesn’t make them a bad person either (you might not have said those words, but it’s what’s understood through your statements).
is the guideverse or esperverse new? ive read a lot of recent mangas/manwhas where theyre esper and guide related, is that a new trope? who made it? let me know if u know
It started to spread from novels and then translated into mangas/manhwas/manhuas, I don't know about KR novels And JP novels, but you can find different guide verse novels with Chinese-translated novels. There are so many of them, Translated and untranslated. The esper and guide trope started I think around when Profundis first uploaded their first chapter, it got so popular that various new manhwas sprouted with their unique level and intensity of toxicity.
8/10 feels incomplete and the rape in the beginning wasn’t needed
I agree. Well written but questionable at moments. Art is fucking beautiful tho
