it's uses too much shounen troupes to the point where it feels like parody (the flashbacks before the final blow of every fight, the characters explaining their strategy during the fight for no reason, the characters uninvolved in the fight (and somehow can see through what happened) explaining what happened, etc.). it's the classic "social outcast turns out to be the strongest" like BNHA, Naruto, fucking every isekai "kicked out of party" ever. The character writing is also very inconsistent, you have people believing they're the strongest but decides to use underhanded tricks to try and beat mash like...if you're that strong...why not face him head on? also during the final trial when mash's dad enters the trial...neither the bureau nor wahlberg does anything??? and the point of "he can't use magic he doesn't deserve to live" is hammered too much it feels like the writer was insecure that this was a dumb point. Main villain's goal is boring and at times doesn't make sense...just to become the strongest and for some reason...destroy the world? like what do you even gain from that? does he want to be the only living being in the universe? Creepy Nuts really propelled this title to fame, without them very few would've known this for how unapologetically bland it is lol

it's dogshit idk what to tell you. It's the stereotypical "get kicked out of family because I don't have combat skills" which is a lot more common these days (but usually the get kicked out -> start their own village type shit because maybe Civ sims are getting popular in Japan these days? idk). anyways they make you feel for the guy getting disowned and shit which tries to relate to a lot of people, that feeling of getting disapproved by the people around you, getting compared to others, etc. but then the author was like nope just walk in to another area and you become overpowered problem solved and just completely removes that relatability potential the story has. I would've liked it more if the guy struggled to get his power up, maybe hit a road block or two, because it would feel like he actually accomplished something other than go to new area -> get radiated -> instant power. I also don't really like the "in your face messages" like the "don't judge a book by it's cover" they keep hammering it in. it feels like every time a new demon gets introduced to MC they have to ask "are you not afraid?".

Artist is wasted on this boring ass story. Cain is such a bland character and author doesn't even know how he should go around his persona, for example author was making it so Cain isn't the type to brag about his powers and noble status and tries to keep it hidden but also show off how OP he is during the entrance test, like make up your mind. For some reason the "news" of Cain only spreads when author wants to, suddenly becomes a baron and all this bullshit achievements? sure Tijuana and others learned about Cain, but Guild Master and Examiner during entrance test? nope, never heard of Cain. Author also tries to redeem Cain's OP by having him train in a "dragon ball hyperbolic time chamber" which essentially just gives gets him more OP without losing anything. 5 Years of age added to physical appearance? nope just Ctrl+Z that shit. Also why even make him train when you've already made him able to use spells without training at all? just pull up another bullshit like "I now have god's eye and can see 5 minutes into the future". Also why the fuck does a 2nd year high school kid know the intricacies of a bidet? does author even know that you need a septic tank for that shit? and that you have to empty it every once in a while? Antagonists in this story are also so bland and wasn't expand upon. Aaron or Arlong's (scanlations keep changing it) reasoning was just because "he got tired of his responsibilities", even though in appearance, he seems much younger compared to the other gods and for some reason none of them tried to understand why he keeps making nations go to war and just used that shitty reason "he got tired of his responsibilities". Author also like to intorduce plot points that doesn't contribute to the story like suddenly Cain was an orphan when he was in Japan but wasn't specified anywhere until later on when author ran out of ideas. Overall boring story, bullshit powers, bland MC, and poorly written antagonists makes this one of the worst isekais whose saving grace is the artist's talent that's wasted on a shitty story. I rets my case. 1/10.

Boring...and doesn't make sense sometimes like how the fuck did he learn all the magic shit even though during his time at school he didn't really learn magic (thus why he was still made fun of). It would be nice if he had to learn how to use spirit magic first instead of just instantly having them...not to mention the concept of "spirit magic" is very boring. No rules, no mechanic explained which leads to conveniently adding powers to MC like "oh now I can fly", "now I can use elemental powers". Yeah why don't you give him necromancy to bring back his dead parents while you're at it why don't ya. Every antagonist here are so bland, usually a good antagonist has a reasonable motive on why they do bad things...in this one, everyone is bad just because. The nobles are bad just because, even after MC got to his hometown village they just add a shit antagonist with shit motives (for example the to be chief of the neighboring village) and most of the reason is just arrogance. Nothing more nothing less. Not to mention the MC has "resentment" towards someone when the author wants him to. When the nobles treated him like shit, or tossed the princess off the cliff he doesn't have resentment but when he went to his village and some of his friends were being assaulted "resentment" activates. How fucking convenient. To sum it up, boring MC, boring antagonists, very convenient plot points all around.

story wise is so boring. Already seen this trope multiple times, duo male female solving crime in highschool how creative it's not like [Seitokai Tantei Kirika], [Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru], and others has done it before but here comes the kicker this time it's so boring not to mention it just uses the reason why the Sherlock series (the Benedict Cum one) was so bad which is the "I just know" gig instead in sherlock he's just "attuned to every data point". Fuckin A, it's so boring. good art tho so that's a waste. This is basically the hbomberguy video on sherlock but instead just does all the negative points explained.
