Based on what I understand so far, the first emperor was Evaldina's lover and she thought that he only used her for her powers and he killed her kind so that no one can threaten his authority. But in reality, the first emperor eradicated the Witches cause the diety whispered to him that the witches will go against their love and he wanted to make Evaldina happy. It's a huge ass misunderstanding and I really pity them both the Diety is an ass

PERFECT i knew as soon as i saw suehiro sensei was the mangaka this would eat. i rarely find bls that are as perfect as this one. it went straight to my 5 star list!!! conflict/resolution was perfect!! wrap up was great and the characters were all amazing. it’s rare to find a seme character like this one! TS BOOTY! i started reading this cuz of a tiktok, give me back my time!! mamura was one of the only sane characters here besides suzume’s unc! idk if the mangaka changed their mind last minute on who the ml wld be but this WHOOOOOLE story or at least a majority of was between shishio (sensei) and suzu. it was SO annoying. even when shishio and suzu “ended things” and it moved on to mamura IT WAS STILL SUZU JUST THINKING ABT SHISHIO!! UGH MAMURA DESERVED MORE ATTENTION. if i didn’t read a spoiler that she’d end up with mamura i wouldn’t have even read this! honestly not worth the time it took to read this. IM SO UNSATISFIED >:(

i’m genuinely so??? the story actually has real good angst but i just think it’s infuriating how he didn’t see anything wrong with hurting her that much until she tried to kill herself he’s angry cuz she was ignorant abt her family and i don’t blame him in that aspect. if u have a good standing i think its ur duty to educate ur self on what’s happening instead of remaining complicit, ESPECIALLY if they’re ur own family; her only sin was ignorance, but that was not enough to warrant the amount of emotional abuse he’s caused her he thought that no matter how much he hurt her she’ll continue to remain by his side because in his eyes she’ll always be that ignorant, weak noble girl. fl had development further into the story, she realized that just how everyone was causing her misfortunes, her father caused the same onto others. she realized that her situation was not much different from her counterparts. she admitted her ignorance was wrong and that’s when she made the decision to end it all. she tried to kill herself TWICE now i’m just waiting to see how the author is even gonna bounce back from this cuz ml seriously needs some working on.
