Why is the 1st couple getting hated on so much? Not every relationship is going to be happy and romance-filled; just because it doesn’t look promising for the future doesn’t mean it was a bad story. I personally liked it because it strayed away from the typical top-bottom dynamics. |( ̄3 ̄)|

    ..is this comment....satire or something??
You literally just said there's no romance in there and their relationship isn't going to last lmaooo.
are u actually trying to defend the relationship or not I can't tell lolσ( ̄∇ ̄;)

HAHA, yeah, that’s fair. I was just saying that a story does not necessarily have to result in a couple that will get married in the future. Maybe they will break up soon and I think that’s ok. I still liked the story! lol

Spoilers for the last two(?) chapters

Kind of thought Ryuuta would turn into a ghost (since he’s supposed to be dead) and Izumo would become unable to see him anymore since he lost his spiritual energy ( ̄∇ ̄)

The happy ending’s good though.

    Beansprout July 3, 2021 3:55 pm

That sort of alt ending would be an awesomely good heart-wrenching end (¯▿¯)

Yeah, this happy ending is indeed good

It doesn’t sit right with me that Hae-in’s father is meeting with her in the first place. She’s in a mentally unstable state, and it seems that he’s easily convinced, so putting one on one together, the meeting just seems dangerous. Either way, I really hope Hae-in gets better, for herself, but also for the sake of others.

Omuraisu.2 May 29, 2021 12:31 pm

Why is Hae-in’s father so irresponsible? I get that this is his only child, but can’t he understand that Hae-in and Doo-joon need to be kept apart? She needs therapy, and a lot of it. I agree that it’s not entirely her fault as it’s a mental illness, meaning her father needs to get his shit together and face the fact that his daughter is causing a disturbance to others’ lives.

    Kattz May 29, 2021 12:48 pm

What do you mean? She's clearly in a mental hospital right now. What else can he do? If you mean earlier, the hospital told him that she was fit to be released and he believed them. That's not necessarily his fault either.

What the father can do is keep Doo-joon away from her. Hae-in burst out of there believing he’d be there to visit her, since her father told her so. However, since it’s obvious she isn’t cured yet, bringing Doo-joon to her would just worsen the problem.

He's definitely in the wrong for using Doo Joon's name to be able to see her but he clearly wasn't going to bring Doo Joon to meet his daughter. Doo Joon won't go anywhere NEAR her in the first place, making that an impossible situation. Lying to his daughter to see her doesn't make him a bad person considering that it's not harming anyone, it just makes him sad, maybe even a bit pathetic. If he let her out of the mental hospital after all this then yeah, THAT would make him a shit person.

It harms his daughter. She got her hopes up all for nothing, and in the first place, why would he think it’s a good idea to use Doo-joon’s name in order to go see her? She was obsessed with him to the point where she broke into his house. Anyway, Hae-in’s father is still an irresponsible father to me. While I can UNDERSTAND his point of view, that doesn’t justify his actions.

I saw a comments saying the ending felt rushed or there were uncleared parts, but I think it was just perfect—especially with how the characters are.
* Spoilers for the ending

I don’t think Kurose is suited to fall in love, but he’s changed since before; and Shirotani was able to better his mysophobia to the point where he can do things like eating at restaurants… Isn’t that a good way to wrap things up?
Relationships work differently depending on who’s a part of it, so while some may consider a lover someone who you could potentially marry, for these two the relationship may just mean that they can overcome their past conflicts when they’re with each other.

Either way, I can already imagine they’d grow closer over the years… but the manga would go on forever if we saw that step by step, haha.

    rayne May 17, 2021 8:11 am

for me i can say it’s both rushed but good. i wish they dwelled more on shirotani and for them to talk about their past. i really wanted them to be able to talk about it to overcome not being able to speak out bc i can understand how hard it is to hold in stuff that traumatized you. i like that the ending ends like that but i wish it ended more on their relationship being more extended, idk if that makes sense. also wanted that girl who traumatized our mc to rot :(

    rayne May 17, 2021 8:12 am

or for the dad to know what the girl did tbh, like what was the call abt when our mc called his dad. what did our ml think after reading the book the author made?

I've read a few of Amamiya's works, and all of them have blown my mind. The art is gorgeous and the comedy thrown in is perfect, of course, but there's something about the way they portray love... I really do enjoy that there are no toxic relationships. Thanks for uploading!

Your screenshots are fine this way! (^ω^)

Also, I’m so glad Suha ran tf away. I’m sure that’d be disgusting as hell

Omuraisu.2 December 11, 2020 1:16 pm

This author has one of the prettiest art styles (in my opinion), and I’m, like, all for it.
I would 100% recommend reading this author’s other works! They’re really amazing as well, and it’s usually mostly fluff (the mild, yet wholesome kind) so it’s really nice.

“Oh, is that a new way to introduce yourself?”
I think that was really sweet. Being so accepting about LGBTQ+... It makes me happy ( ^ω^ )

Omuraisu.2 November 24, 2020 1:48 pm

A lot of mangas I’ve read with “Heaven” in the title are actually pretty twisted, and I dig it, but I find it ironic lol. Examples are “Caste Heaven” and “Dark Heaven.”
