Nah I give up. The motive of the villains are love. Like really blind in love. I was hoping the witch has some grand reason for her revenge, like the 1st emperor massacre all her people or clan but no, she did it herself, and got dissapointed when the 1st emperor didn't marry her instead.
I was also hoping grand reason for herman to be a traitor. Let say : family feud, inherently evil, greed for power.
But no. His sole reason is blind in love with the witch. She didn't even brainwashed him.
Herman love is blind enough to let the witch brainwashed his father, imprisoned his own mother (because his mother kept forcing herman to drink tea that break the brainwashed). Herman even led people to rebellion for nonsense cause. Like. Really no justification for this rebellion.
Herman's parents also good people, he was raised with love and care and he decided to let down his parents and made innocent people died in useless cause. Even herman parents are friends with aaron parents, but they just act as rival in public.

It's nonsense cause. Love??? Really???
If, just if, if herman was grew up being abused by his parents, felt inferiority complex to regina, and have family fued with royal, old grudge and stuff. So he seek out greater power, and met a witch who actually loves him and helping each other. Then yeah. But love?? It's not even mutual. The witch doesn't even love him back.

And the stupid witch thinks it's okay to annihilate a kingdom just because she got rejected?

Simple story to just past time.
No indept character
Most characters are dumb (dumb moves, dumb plans etc)
No deep reasons for everything
Characters changed too easily like :
Annette loves Ridley for sooo loongg she even got jealous over Vendal and suddenly she married to someone she met just few chapters. Not too mention her husband is used to be a criminal but surprisingly good person (???) No story about it.
Estefan (?) Forgot his name, was like a victim of manipulation of Queen Victoria, which made him obsessed over Vandel and he died just like that. Yes, he was wrong by killing his father and framing his sister, but the least he could get is Vandel forgiving him because it was Queen Victoria Plan to made Vandel hates human, by threatening estefan.
Percival was like infatuated with Annette and then bam, yeah I chose to be a traitor and challenge Ridley even if Ridley is proven to be so strong. Oops I died.
Queen Victoria was somehow very strong and powerful throughout the story, but her initial plan was kinda dumb, like, kidnapping Annette? Really? She was very strong even Vandel couldn't stand up against her but in her last moment, suddenly, her specialty is just illusion (super useless magic). At least she died protecting Vandel, I mean she was so wrong with her mind games and evil deeds by manipulating Estefan & Percival and led them to die. So yeah she deserves to die.
Vandel, he was described as prince of darkness, hero of the demon bla bla bla. But he passed out after 1 hit from human girl?? Even got himself kidnapped. His magic is also draining so fast it's almost useless in battle. Like he only able to cast 1-2 full spell.
Ridley is most annoying character with his goody two shoes attitude where he firmly believe his father is a saint. Like yikes.
Bone King, after all the terrors, he died with just one snap(?) Bruuhhh.

What's more, Queen Victoria claimed her plan to merge demon & human kingdom is to attain power that strong enough to kill bone king. Then why go so long with elaborate plan only to kill estefan (?).
The ancient appearance didn't give impact or significant in a story. In fact. We can just scrap it all and the story will still continues. The ancient told Ridley & Vandel, the appearance and size of bone monster is connected with how far the bone king is. Many times, bone monster in very big size appeared and Ridley & Vandel didn't even suspected anything. Like, you know, asked (?) Oh the monster is big, it's mean the bone king is near, we have to search for him. No. They never even think that far it's so annoying. Even the ancient told them, crystalbreaker has bone king trace, but they both didn't even question why there's a trace of bone king in human sword. Like. They forgot it all. That's why I said, ancient arc should just be scrapped. Both of them didn't even pay attention to the information given by the ancient.

3 knights were actually ran away when they saw vandel, but upon returning to the kingdom, strangely enough they still stationed in inner palace even as far as to guard the king chamber. Like wtf is wrong with these kingdom.

Just read for the sake of fun. The plot and characters really dumb but the art is good

Spoiler, crown prince is actually grow to likes elena but heavily brainwashed by ogHeroine. She is obsessed of being worshipped. So she brainwashed crown prince to elevate her status. She also worshipped by commoners (they are easily brainwashed). But due to her greedy plan and brainwashed etc, crown prince always on losing side, even tho he already more stupid than lloyd. The brainwashed made the crown prince think her as elena (like think about ogHeroine a lot). In the end all her plans are failed, and many nobles are in favor of elena, the king break off elena engagement etc. OgFL feel crown prince is no longer useful and kill him, which is ironic because crown prince losing battle because all of her stupid plans. Crown Prince is the ogML of this world, once he died, it made ogFL become ordinary girl and all of her brainwashes dissapear. Then she got jailed. Like wtf. You killed a prince you idiot.
I don't think crown prince murder is justified. So I guess I dropped it. More over the king really loves pitching his two sons with each other
