i love how the trope with capturing the heart of a commoner/slave who has potential of a god here is shown with how it would actually be like. like eckles my dude has gotten crazy obsessive with her by her own doings, it was always “mine”, “only”, “need you”. like that’s not how you make people love love you, that’s how you let yourself get into codependent relationships. AND I LOVE CROWN PRINCE. like that dude is the real ml, he’s like “who cares about love, i’m talking about real shit here like comfort and companionship and compatibility” and he’s SO RIGHT ABOUT THAT. and yeah fuck winter and brothers. winter is okayish but brothers can go fuck themselves tbh.
