wow, i have never finished a webcomic so quickly. 'save me' is definitely one of the best reads i've had in a while and to anybody hesitant to get into it: do it, it'll be the best 63 chapters of your life. i like how the author fleshes out the characters; making jangsoo (school president) the reason why the bullying's started in the first place was a good choice, because he *had* a reason– not a valid reason, of course –to be acting this way toward hyeongho (kid with glasses). he does not want to feel inferior to anybody since all his life he's been taught by his father to kiss up to people in power, promising jangsoo that one day he won't have to do anything like that anymore once he's at the top. so you could imagine how a child who is raised the way jangsoo was would react to somebody, physically disabled at that, stealing his title of being the smartest student.

i also thought it was good that there was an established hierarchy in the group of bullies. (forgive me for this next part but i am bad with names so i will be referring to some characters with their most notable features) from highest to lowest it would be: jangsoo > blondie > muscle man > tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. because of how much blondie stood out i at first assumed that he'd be the one behind all of the bullying, but i was proven wrong right off the bat (read first paragraph.) you could see in several scenes how the members of the group reminisced in the joyful memories they had as good friends, despite there being an obvious power gap. it was enjoyable to see the group turn into shambles chapter by chapter, good job.

of course, i haven't forgotten about main characters hyeongho and namsoo (really bad with names, bear with me.) i'll be honest, the 'secretly twins/secretly related' plot twists never get to me, as i have always thought it was lazy or not well thought out, but it definitely worked in this series's favor. there were loads of signs and dialogue that foreshadowed this conclusion (e.g. the adoptive mom of hyeongho saying the two looked alike, namsoo's obsessive behavior that made it seem he looked more than he let on.) namsoo was a strong protagonist, hyeongho even more so. i understood why hyeongho is so adamant to letting people help him, and that was one of the factors that won me over. was the conclusion underwhelming? not at all, the bullies were punished for their wrongdoings and the twins got their happy ending. overall, this story was amazing and i'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get into more psychological sources.

fuming, hyuk lee was my favorite but there is no clarification on whether or not he is alive. i'm a bit irritated how they spent more time on the relationship of both hyun cha and jisu while less time on the development of hyun and hyuk.

agreed, as much as I love romance, focusing on characters with so much more potential and getting a good view at them and how they turn out in the end is way more better, after all without hyuk chapter 140 wouldn't exist.

i agree too, they could've been the greatest duo. I would've cried more if they have a deeper connection especially if the character Hyuk is more developed, he has mc potential.
