-Excellent story pacing
-Diverse characters
-Good plot

I could go on and on, but those three points is what makes a good story, a good story. The manwha wasn’t too slow and not too fast. Honestly, there wasn’t really a lot of times where you can breathe. Even in the “filler” you gathered some type of knowledge about the characters. I personally loved the fact that the author didn’t stray away from the plot. Sometimes authors put too much…filler..? So much to the point where the story could be 90 chapters, but it turns into 100+. I’m all for happy moments and the mc relaxing, but let’s get to the point. The antagonist just killed you and your family, or your husband killed you, and you want your get back. (I’m talking about reincarnation manuha. Where the female lead goes back in time and takes 100 years to get her get back)

Absolutely loved the fact that the story wasn’t 90% romance. In some cases romance takes away from the plot. (Plot being revenge.) A couple people wanted to see more romance, but you also need to keep in mind; romance is a luxury in this story. Gradually they started to realize their feelings. It was them realizing their feelings little by little, and then back to the main problem at hand. That I loved.

I love how even though the villains are villains! They had a backstory that actually makes sense on why they did what they did. That doesn’t excuse anything they did by all means, but I enjoyed the deep dive into their backstory. Yohan is an exception. Mf did it for the stupidest flipping reason. Let me not spoil it tho.

In conclusion, it’s a good short read. With excellent pacing and writing.

It was frustrating at first that she didn’t realize his feelings for her, but like it was totally worth the wait.

Ngl, I kept reading for the plot. The whole god calamity thing was so interesting. It wasn’t too much on the romance which I liked. (It is a slow burn just an fyi.)

I wouldn’t rate this a 10/10, because I feel like it was somewhat rushed.(crazy enough) I believe they could’ve done more with the calamity kids.
Not to say there was plot holes, but it could’ve been betterrr…They had such interesting characters that they could’ve done better with, yk? I’d rate it a 8/10. It wasn’t a typical reincarnation romance manwha. I mean, your master turning into a dude is a crazy plot in in of itself. Loved the idea and loved the characters. You get to connect with the characters. What the mage and “Chloe” went through was insane.

Thinking back, I don’t think this book was really romance. Obviously it is, but the author definitely focuses more on the action. Which I 100% loved. Don’t attack me, but I don’t think this was one of those type of manuhas that show them having babies. Like, the vibe this story gave was we trying to save the Duke, yk? It just never gave mushy and all about love. Like MUSHY MUSHY. Definitely love played a huge part.

To each their own I guess. I’m just not mad about them not showing the kids. I never expected them to have kids or even show em. They have gone through so much trauma they need a break.
