I hope I can see the ending of this sometime, but honestly I'm in no rush. I've been reading this series since middle school and now I'm past college. It's been so many years and I kind of steeled myself for the long haul. I'm just glad there's still updates, and I hope the author takes care of herself to finish the series in the best way she can. Hoping we can all see the end we're all rooting for because I love this series so much and it holds a special place in my heart.

No, but seriously, I'm only so upset because I read this like its gospel. I watched every drama, every episode, read every chapter up until it wasnt actively updating. I had memorized chapters, and if that wasnt enough i tried to redraw the whole thing in a sketchbook. This wasnt "my jam" this was my instruction manual for life and wellbeing. If kyouko wasn't doing it, i wasnt. I nearly bought a damn bright pink jumpsuit. This manga has been around longer than I've been alive, and I can guarantee that I have consumed more of this manga than any other piece of media.
I think this manga on its own might take up a fourth of my developing brain's memory. I view this manga as a sister to me, and yet as an inhuman beast that is ever-evolving with it's grasp on me. Here I am. I am an adult, I now can drink, yet for years upon years I have already been drunk on this manga. I know that the age gap is terrible, I actively acknowledge how horrible this manga is at most points, yet if this manga has no defenders, I know that I am dead. I live and breath it. I am no fan of this, I really dont love this manga, its kind of shitty, and I haven't touched it in at least 5 years. I only really like a few parts of this manga, but the chokehold these few parts have is beyond shakable.

It's incredible it's till going but at the same the Quality never got better. In fact it got worse over the years. The backgrounds are empty, they are Talkin in white voids, everyone is looking the same, it has to many characters, the main story is not going anywhere and it's dragging from Movie arc to movie arc. Do her Editors never say anything?
The author has been dealing with health issues for a while - I'm just glad she has continued. I buy the books and they're better so I'm guessing these scans are from a monthly thing where there isn't always as much detail... about the story arcs - the whole story is about Kyoko growing as a person, falling in love is actually secondary.

Ikr. I am more interested and invested in kyokos career development specially her character plays, then their turtle pace love story with ren. Its just a bonus. At this point I am thankful that the author is still alive and continuing this manga.

I honestly wished there wasn't an American vs Japanese face off, but I guess these kind of things still exist. I desperately want to know what relationship Prince have with Juliana and Kuon, but going into the angsty bits is really not my choice. I beg the author to dump our lovely Kyoko and Ren together with each other and end this series. Being realistic, Kyoko is still far away from being famous, and Ren has his own demons to fight (though they are coming into light slowly). The story with F guy is stopped in an impasse way, with no clean break. Things are simply on their way to get messier.
I've been reading this manga since it came out in 2002. Even though I wish for a faster publication of chapters and books, I understand that the author is giving her best and I am thankful to be able to read the rest.
I have others works that stopped in the middle because of health issues or even death - that is why I will follow this manga as long as possible.
