I wrote some fanfic only published one but, I wasn't done writing I think they were a lot of mistakes because one of my friends forced me to publish it and I didn't even get the chance to fully checked it, oh well
Depending on where you published it (I presume online?), there is no reason you can't check it now , edit and repost it for future readers. Places like fanfic.net let you replace whole chapters without affecting reviews - at least they did in the past.
