am i the only one
that doesn't ship characters (who do not already have any romantic relationship) when watching an anime or reading any manga
every time i read a comment section or scrolling through tik tok i see people sharing their ships, and i just doen't really understand where that comes from
i always just read or watch without really thinking more about the possible relationships that i would like to happen within the said manga/anime, i guess i just accept the story as it is ╮(￣▽￣)╭
i have talked with some of my friends, and i'd say 3/4 of them have at least 3 or 4 ships, so sometimes i just feel a little bit left out. so if anyone does like me let me know because maybe i'm missing out on something
It's not a weird approach :'). I honestly shipped much easily when I was younger, but nowadays I tend to ship less... but simply because my standards perhaps got higher with knowledge, you know? I relate to the feeling. I used to ship fictional characters but now I barely do that. I guess it was when I started to take notes on how limiting it is to tag every single human interaction as either romantic or sexual in nature. Like why make them lovers when they could be in a long lasting friendship where they support each other up and are ther...... reply
Well i ship two people when like canon romantic stuff happens between them but their not actually together and if they also have a good dynamic and if they make me smile any time i see them together. Idk i just ship sometimes because some ships make me feel better but also because i enjoy the pair for eachother. reply
Nope don’t ship either. I find it a little odd when imo there’s no signs whatsoever that those ppl would ever have any interest in each other especially regular stuff that ppl project their own BL fantasies on. But with that said, I don’t knock others for their hobbies. I just don’t get it and that’s okay. To each their own. reply
