Are good parents rare?

Idk my parents are amazing. They support lgbtq and they’re really out going. Instead of having parents, it feels like having a group of friends wherever I go. They’re really cool. Maybe I’m just lucky.   2 reply

i'm sure there are good parents here and there. perspective is also a factor. i guess my parents are kind of nice except WHEN MY DAD PRESSURES ME TO HAVE GOOD GRADES WHEN MY GRADE ARE ALREADY ABOVE AVERAGE   reply

hmm. i don't think it's rare, i just think they're not that "well-known", due to the bad ones overpowering the good ones. and we have diff thoughts on what we consider as 'bad' parents. me, personally, what i consider bad are ones that neglect their child/ren's needs, abusing their kid/s physically, or emotionally manipulating them (ex. guilttrip),......   1 reply
