lol I haven’t really been active on here for awhile cuz I landed myself in a psych ward for a week or so. But I’m glad they let me go home yesterday in time for Christmas. I’m so stupid, that was like the best and worst experience of my life and I’m definitely not gonna go back there. At least now I know I got BPD so that’s that. And just saying if any of you guys ever feel really down or stressed try to reach out for help and don’t do it the hard way like me cuz I felt like I was in a fever dream Fr. Anyways I hope you guys have a great Christmas with whoever you’re spending it with or if your spending it alone that’s fine too :) glad to be back and better (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Sorry if this feels insensitive but how does one develop mental issues like bpd and the like cause a lot of people have truma, me included but have managed to come out fairly unscathed. It's just a question feel free to ignore.
Dw I don’t think ur being insensitive but it depends on people’s circumstances as well as other factors like genetics that’s why when I was there the doctors would ask if there’s any history of mental illness in the family. But in other cases some people’s brain chemicals may not produce enough serotonin or maybe produce too much that’s why there’s medication. But medicine isn’t forever and that’s where therapy can help those with trauma learn to cope in healthy ways. (This is some of the stuff they taught me there so I hope it helps answer your question)
