i think that we're all seen as immature and stupid girls no matter how old we get, if we love yaoi, ppl think we're dumb! No offense but please dont do that, people will exactly think you're dumb XD just kidding nah, i have tattoos, i'm a huge fan of tattoos and im getting an aprenticeship and all, and seriously my best advice is please think about it very carefully. Its not even about the pain, but what they mean to you. You can get another tattoo that represents what yaoi means to you, but honestly i wouldnt get that tattoo. And please see this as a friendly advice, im not trying to be rude or insult you or anything, afterall yaoi is pretty damn good yeah haha

Child, it is YOUR body do whatever you want to it. Dont listen to other people and then make your decisions (that would make you a puppet). Tattoos are not such a taboo as they once were and because it was a counter culture now turned main stream, I am sure you will not be the only person at your retirement home with tattoos.
Just make it meaningful for yourself, that way everyday you can look at it and know what means. Whether that gives you strength, laughter, or pride; as long as YOU understand, no one else matters!!!!!

I have a few tattoos, for me they didnt hurt (but i also didnt take drugs when I had my baby), that just depends on you pain threshold. I just wanted to add that I have a tattoo in invisible ink that reads "HTFU" and to me it means "HARDEN THE FUCK UP". To me it means Lets get this done I have other people counting on me today! But it can change daily~the meaning that is
