Yup, it may have been stupid to sleep with the ex of his lover but he was just a brat and he was threatened so he did the only thing that he thought he could do submit to the ex demands. That way he could protect the one he cared for and showed the ex how much he loved the sensei. Then again he could have told the sensei but there were no guarantees that the ex would not expose their relationship to the school then what would have happened?
