Himari is an energetic high school girl. She has a childhood friend named Hikaru, but as she grows older, Hikaru grows colder, and before she knows it, the distance between them has been widened. One day, by chance, Himari sees Hikaru in front of a torii gate. When she follows him through the gate, she finds herself in a different world that she has never seen before! The story is about a young girl who has just moved to a new world and gets caught up in the trouble, but the unfriendly and cold-hearted Hikari takes it upon himself to save her.
