No but this is so true, nowadays authors only write for money and it's so sad. It's so obvious they didn't get into the BL industry to write cute or good stories abt gay couples, they only want to make money out of them. It's not bad to write for the money but when you decide to sell your soul and write such bullshit it's gross truly   reply

This is what my bio is all about lol, or rather explaining why theres an issue with fictious porn that portrays such a serious and a sensitive topic so recklessly. If anything id encourage people to read illegally instead of supporting these authors and those companies who profit over the fetishization of mlm relationships and the contribution to r......   2 reply

something else i’d like to add— when a male lead does something nonconsensually to a female lead, people go absolutely BONKERS. (ofc there’s those people who don’t care either way, but u get my point) but when it’s two guys, it’s okay? no one bats an eye. it just reminds me of those people who say “men can’t be raped” and it’s ......   1 reply

Interesting take imo and i agree with the hyperconsumerist approach that lezhin specifically takes when advertising their webtoons. there r some manhwa rn that straight up feel like they were written in a factory to be problematic and replicate the popularity of those manhwa you mentioned, specifically potn. in most cases the rape in these stories ......   reply

I agree, I think Lezhin already has monopolized the webtoon industry, at least in South Korea. And it's not a new problem. I read older (10+ year) manga from Japan and the issue is still present. I'm not east Asian or have ever taken part in those cultures but somewhere down the line I think SA and rape became part of the sex culture at least in so......   reply
