the duality of her acting reviews, how she'll react to the MC, how she'll improve, if she's someone we'll dislike or love... it makes you actually want to read further. compared to the bland-ass cutesy mary sue archetype who only exists to be bested by the MC and fawn over him. like girl... establish your own life, stop existing for and setting your goals over one guy. i need a longer time-skip for this girl where she sets off somewhere to grow tf up and stop equating her acting career to her romantic life.
Ikr. It would be wonderful if she does have acting skills but they got overshadowed by her looks. However, after acting with ML, he acting skills increase and finally doesn't get overshadowed by her looks.
But I'm afraid they would make her have bad skill, and eventually boot her out of the drama to replace her with the cutesy girl who's been annoying every reader.
there's gotta be novel spoilers somewhere but i like speculating. is it just MCs sheer will of controlling the gates catastrophe that the main game scenario of the players encountering a ravaged kingdom couldn't be realized? what's happening in 5 days, is it the main event? i thought he had a different deadline for that ages ago?
anw it's just super interesting to think what the irl players will think once they encounter this absolutely OP NPC that seems intertwined with so much of the game's lore, and on the flip side how will MC handle encountering what he was once part of? and how will he handle the aholes who killed him because of the game lol
why yes, yes i would like some incredibly codependent and fucked up dynamics in my fiction. give us tragic backstories and means not justifying the ends, give us groveling at her feet, give us two tortured souls trying and failing to reconcile the past.
and dear god no, no i do not want the capitalist driven virtue signaling caveat of 'oooh but then she finds someone else like Mr McHealthy Relationships and Forgor Everything and Is Now Girlbossing right???'
if it didn't have eggroll and rice cake boy as the main characters like literally the plot is so captivatingly melancholic because everyone around them is morally ambiguous with their own grievances and dreams. so much potential for tragedy to happen
but hilarious af how she literally just grabs the plot by the neck and says, 'nah this is an action romcom bitch ain't no one making me the victim'
ALSO can i just say i'm so frickin relieved rice cake boy catches on quick? one of my main worries is that we will go down the path of, "i suddenly discovered you were part of the group I didn't like! you must have done this intentionally to trick me and i won't let you explain nor investigate, bc i hate you now"
i'm glad he caught onto the body switching clues with the implication that this wasn't something eggroll specifically planned for and went about investigating who she had been first to tie up the clues. GO EMPEROR! DON'T DISAPPOINT US AND HURT HER WITH ASSUMPTIONS!!!!
but for his technique in kidnapping. cringefail yandere moment but for real tho i was expecting the comments section to be littered with annoying virtue signaling again, like from the type who would pick up something with obsessive ex-husband in the title and then get mad there's an ex-husband being obsessive in the story.
i'm glad they kinda whittled down that crowd and we've got more hilarious comments from people who actually read and has fun with this genre
ive had this exact thought every time i read the comments on manhwa like this. like why are you here if you dont like whats literally in the title??
but i agree, i love everyone clowning on him right now LMAO it was hilarious
